This site explains how navigation works. It is not a navigation tool. Its models are simplified, and every simplification is labelled, but even its accurate parts are not maintained, certified or suitable for planning or conducting a voyage or flight. Never rely on it for safety of life or property. Use official charts, current almanacs and publications, and properly maintained instruments, and follow the guidance of your maritime or aviation authority.

Text and figures are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0: you may share and adapt them for any purpose, including commercially, with attribution to “NavMuseum” and a link to the page. The source code is licensed under the MIT licence. Third-party data and fonts keep their own licences, listed on the about page.

Radio figures are simulations. Transmitting radio signals generally requires a licence; nothing here is an instruction to transmit.
